BaRo has supplied quality European Beech to discerning export customers since the early 1980s. Since then, equipment and sawmill facilities have been continually improved and upgraded, and the range of products available and the volume has increased.


We have inspectors certified to NHLA Inspection Standards and we are able to produce unsteamed or steamed European Beech lumber mainly in the grades of FAS 1 Face, Selects, and #1 Common, to meet all  your expectations and requirements. Other grades are also available. Thicknesses  include  4/4, 5/4, 6/4 and 8/4 produced to standard lengths and low moisture content. Quarter/Rift-sawn is available and 10/4 and 12/4 Thickness to special order.


We are able to supply lightly steamed Euro Beech Lumber in long lengths, up to 15ft, and also thick stock. Many sawmills cutting European Beech cannot supply long stock in any thickness. In addition we can supply  squares and cut to size component blanks.


We are able to offer lumber with either FSC or PEFC Chain of Custody Certification, according to your requirements.


BaRo  is experienced in the export of lumber from Germany. We have shipped beech lumber and logs to Australia and the Far East since the early 1990s.and European Steamed Beech Lumber to the USA since 2005.  BaRo  can offer European Beech Lumber in a variety of forms, steamed or unsteamed to meet customer requirements.
